How to make Vape Cartridges

Cannabis enthusiasts are always looking for ways to enhance their marijuana experience. Many do this by either exploring new weed accessories that accentuate their favorite strains or trying new cannabis products that are more concentrated.

The rise of vaping provides marijuana connoisseurs with both. Vaping rose to fame about two decades ago and has become one of the most popular and convenient ways to enjoy cannabis distillates and concentrates. 

While vaping has provided a new avenue for enjoying THC and CBD distillates, some consumers often get stuck figuring out how to refill a vape cartridge. Fortunately, it’s a quick and easy process that is far less intimidating than it looks.

Nevertheless, it’s crucial to remember that even though they look alike and work in a similar fashion, not all cartridges are the same.

Step 1 :Mixing terpenes & distillate

Before filling the Vape carts we need to mix our selected terpenes with our Distillate.

The industry standard for vape carts are 1-10% terpenes in your final product but we have found that most customers prefer 4-7% ratio depending on personal preference.

Step 2: Filling Instructions for carts​

​

• Cartridge must be upright when filling the reservoir with oil

• Do not fill into the middle post, or severe leaks will occur. .

• Recommended Fill Temperature  Between 30° - 50° C ( Temperature  of distillate)

•Do not overfill or allow oil to enter centre way

•Insert a blunt tipped needle into the space between the airway and the outer wall of the cartridge. Fill Cartridge with correct amount of oil based on your cart.

• If cleaning/wiping down cart: Use diluted mixture of 50% or less alcohol, and water

Step 3: After filling

Immediately after filling, screw / press the mouthpiece until fully sealed. Mechanical assistance, such as an Arbor press or channel lock pliers might be required to fully seal the mouthpiece.

​

• Do not leave any silicone caps on tip or base of cart when capping.

• Do not flip cartridge upside down, carts must remain upright during this phase.

• If using pliers, cushion jaws with cloth or tape to prevent damage.

• Failure to insert the mouthpiece immediately may cause leakage.

• If cleaning/wiping down cart: Use diluted mixture of 50% or less alcohol, and water

**Caution

• If overfilled when press fitting the mouthpiece, oil will overflow and drip down into the cartridge. Wipe with 50% alcohol immediately.

• If overfilled, cartridges exposed to higher temperatures than during filling, will cause oil in cartridge to expand and leak.

• If ANY leaks are experienced, for any cartridges filled after leaking cartridge, flip the cartridge upside down after filling to purge more air.

• Any oil residue left in the area of the cartridge where the tip is pressed on may cause the tip to pop back up.

 

​Usage:

Please wait at least 30 minutes before using to allow the atomizer to saturate for the

best vapor production.
